Gourd Art has been my passion for the last fourteen years. The potential to turn a gourd into a creative piece of art is quite challenging.Each shape and size are so unique. I chose my projects either by deciding what to create by the shape of the gourd or look for a specific shape for what I have in mind. I clean, wood burn, carve, dye, and weave on the gourds. I often incorporate items that are part of nature into my works.
