My interest is painting portraits and attempting to capture a likeness, as I believe faces to be mirrors of the soul. I am basically self taught, but I have taken classes here and there throughout my 20 years of painting. I began painting in Mexico after retiring to a small village with my husband. The vibrant colors of the country and the beautiful people captured my interest and enhanced my creativity.
